Entire 2018-19 Women's Water Polo Team Make ACWPC All-Academic

BRIDGEPORT, PA. – The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced the 2019 Women's All-Academic Awards on Tuesday morning, listing all 16 student-athletes from the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Water Polo team onto the list. The award breaks down the recipients to three categories: Outstanding (4.0 - 3.71 GPA), Superior (3.70 - 3.41 GPA), and Excellent (3.40-3.20 GPA). This marked the first time in recorded history the program saw their entire roster make the All-Academic list.

In addition to excelling in the classroom, the Sagehens had a successful season in the pool, recording their second consecutive 20-win season and going 14-0 in the SCIAC regular season. Pomona-Pitzer also reached the SCIAC Tournament final for the third straight year and saw five student-athletes win All-American honors.
