SAN DIMAS, CA. – The No. 11 Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team finished in third place at the SCIAC 1 on Saturday and Sunday morning at Via Verde Country Club.
The Sagehens ended in third place with a final score of 631 behind Redlands who took the top sport with a score of 596 and CMS in second at 611. Cal Lutheran took fourth at 641 followed by Whittier in fifth at 664, Chapman in sixth at 693, Occidental in seventh at 701 and La Verne in eighth at 764.
Leading the way for the Sagehens was Abby Euyang who finished in second place with a 71 and a 76 for a total score of 147 (+3). The second highest finisher for the Sagehens was Andi Chaloult who tied for 17th with an 81 and a 79 for a score of 160 (+16). Stephanie Yu and Priscilla Ki followed up in a tie for 22nd as Yu finished with an 81 in both days while Ki shot an 82 and an 80 for a score of 162 (+18).
The Sagehens finished the day with Annabelle Huether in a tie for 30th overall as she shot a 91 in day one and came back for a 90 in day two for a final score of 181 (+37).
The Sagehens will next hit the links on Saturday, March 14th at the George Fox Invitational at Westbrook Village Golf Course.
