
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Pomona-Pitzer men's swim and dive team showed well on Day Two of the 2023 NCAA Division III Swim and Dive Championships.
Morning Prelims
The Sagehens 200 free relay team of Adrian Clement, Tag Curwen, Anzo Degiulio, and Ted Hwang combined for a time of 1:22.91. Larry Yu had a stellar performance for the Sagehens in the 400 IM, dropping 1.06 seconds to take the first seed overall heading into the championship final with a time of 3:52.09. In the 200 free, Tag Curwen earned a second swim after touching the wall in 1:39.12, putting him in the consolation final as the 15th seed. The Sagehens 400 medley relay team of Larry Yu, Ted Hwang, Adrian Clement, and Tag Curwen combined for a time of 3:19.29 which initially put them in the consolation final, but they were disqualified for an early take off.
Evening Finals
In the 400 IM, Larry Yu finished in eight place overall to earn First Team All-American honors, touching the wall in 3:39.23. In the 200 free, Tag Curwen earned Second Team All-American honors with a time of 1:39.12
