Claremont, Calif. - The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Basketball team jumped out to a 15-0 lead and never looked back as it cruised to a 110-54 win over American Sports University on Friday evening.
With the win, Pomona-Pitzer improves to 5-3 on the season as it heads into its two-week break for the Holidays. The Sagehens won't play again until they travel to Division I Cal State Bakersfield on Dec. 30.
Freshman guard Kyle McAndrews (Seattle, Wash.) led the Sagehens for the third game in a row (with a new career high in each of the three games) as he tallied 19 points on 9-10 shooting in only 16 minutes of playing time. Sophomore forward Jake Klewer (Tucson, Ariz. - pictured) had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in only 15 minutes.
