Dominiqic Williams joined Pomona-Pitzer in January of 2022 and as the department's director of intramurals, club sports, and recreation. Williams came to Pomona-Pitzer after spending the last three years as the assistant director of competitive sports for the University of Nebraska Omaha.
While at Nebraska-Omaha, Williams oversaw IM sport offerings with nearly 700 participants semesterly and 500 sport club athletes, coordinated outdoor facility rentals, maintenance, mowing, and field lining for three outdoor recreation fields and club house and supervised and maintain an electronic inventory of all equipment, furniture, and surplus items in the H&K building. Williams also collaborated with the American Heart Association (AHA) to design the Dodgeball for Heart Disease annual tournament and assisted with NIRSA regional flag football and basketball tournaments, serving on officials and All Tournament committees.
Williams previously also spent time at Fresno State where he served as the Intramural program coordinator where he oversaw daily operation of six leagues and four tournaments with 1,500 participants annually, hired, trained, evaluated, and scheduled over 20 student officials, and assisted in designing and implementing the Student Recreation staff training for 60 student employees.
Williams graduated with a BS in Kinesiology with concentration in Therapeutic Rehabilitation from Sac State in May of 2014 and then earned a MA in recreation administration from University of Nebraska, Omaha.
