Athletic Facility Reservation App Information 

General Guidelines 

Facilities are open to Pomona faculty, staff and students.

A valid Pomona or Pitzer ID must be shown.

Masks shall be worn at all times except for swimming.

Daily Health Check (proof of completion) must be provided.

No indoor facilities will be available at the chosen activity (i.e., locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, etc.).

Participants must have signed in through this document prior to arriving.

Participants can only sign-up for one activity per day

Every Pomona community member is allocated a maximum of two activities per week. 

Our departmental guidelines will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply will result in loss of facility access privileges.

Guidelines to be met before your chosen activity

 

A valid Pomona or Pitzer ID must be shown.

Daily Health Check (Proof of completion).

All participants must get their temperature checked prior to the activity.

Participants must reserve space ahead of time.

Participants will bring their own equipment.

Participants will bring their own water.

Participants will adhere to the time slot they have selected and avoid arriving early.

 

Guidelines to be met after your activity

 

Once the activity is complete, participants must exit the campus.

Participants must remember to take their belongings with them -- the Department of Physical Education will not be held responsible for lost items.

Participants must adhere to their time slot.

Participants will only be permitted to use one recreational facility on any given day.

   

Phase 2 Facilities

Outdoor Fitness Center and Workout Shed:

Timings: Mon-Fri, Morning (7am – 9am)/ Afternoon (12pm - 2pm) and Evening (4pm - 6pm)

Timing breakdown: 7am – 7:45am/ 8am – 8:45am/ 12pm – 12:45pm/ 1pm – 1:45pm/ 4pm – 4:45pm/ 5pm – 5:45pm)

Number of participants per 45 min session inside the workout shed: 2 (1 person per squat rack)

Number of participants per 45 min session outside (directly opposite the workout shed): 6 (each individual in their own marked up ‘box’ six feet apart

Number of staff required: 1

Equipment: Access to limited number of equipment, including dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and ab rollers

Requirements: Participants to bring their own outdoor mats/ clean their equipment with the wipes and aerosol sprays provided and return equipment back to their original location.

The shed door to remain open during facility usage for good air circulation

Policy Guidelines: Same as existing current guidelines, Face masks to be worn at all times, temp scan, DHC form, ID, reservation details, etc.

Outdoor Fitness Area will include:  

  • Free weights 
  • Dumbbells
  • Kettlebells 

Workout Shed will include:

  • Squat rack 
  • Bench press 
  • Olympic bar and plate weights 
  • Pull up bar 
  • Free weights 
  • Kettlebells 
  • Dumbbells
